Strokes
hey there.. its been a while
Every coach says to me that i do not need to play every topspin that strong because that means a lot of easy mistakes. I always try to avoid these easy balls but i think the quality in my slower loops is not that good even when i try to play the ball long and with spin. I got many counter attacks when i have good opponents. What can i do?
Hi Lukas,
I think it is about increasing the quality of your slower topspin. Generating a lot of spin will help. To get more spin you need a faster racket head speed on contact but also a fine contact to get the ball travelling slower.
Take a look at the Slow Spinny Topspin tutorial for some help.
Make sure you are getting a difference between the faster and slower ball. The bigger the difference the harder it will be to deal with. You also need to make the action as deceptive as possible to give your opponent as little information as possible as to what type of ball you are giving them.

Also try to place them in areas where it will be more difficult for them to counter them strongly, i.e. in their playing elbow or short in the wide angles.
