In a match, whenever I think of the score I get a little pressured and then I tend to rush a lot. So is it okay if I don't think of the score?

Hi Jasper,

I think it is difficult to ignore the score completely.  This is an issue that every player faces.  Try instead to establish some pre-point and pre match routines that you can use.  Also think about your mindset of thinking about performing well rather than a total focus on the result.

Take a look at our section on Sports Psychology to start with where you will find some useful information.  Start with he tutorial on Recognise Your Feelings.
