Hi Alois, I use short pimples and inverted rubber when i usually play and i tend to chop but when my opponent gives a strong topspin then i reply by chopping the ball tends to went out of the table, how should i chop more vertically or horizontally? Is it better if i reply it with another stroke?

Hi Clement,

If you want to chop then use a more vertical stroke and relax the hand so that you absorb some of the spin and speed.

You could also block the ball back which may be an easier option.
