Strategy
I play many styles depending on whom I'm playing. My mainstream style is similar to the chinese players. I have met very few choppers but probably will be up against one in the upcoming tournament so I was just wondering if choppers prefer playing choppers or attackers. I am not a bad chopper, but will i gain advantage by playing a chopper while being a chopper?
I look forward to the answer.

Ollie
Hi Ollie,
This does depend on the individual chopper. Some are very consistent and don't mind pushing and chopping in long rallies and can also attack well enough to beat choppers.
The main thing with two choppers playing against each other is to find their strengths and weaknesses. One will be more consistent so the other will have to fore the pace a little and try to win the point with attacks or better placement.
In this video we will discuss the differences between Inverted and short pimple rubbers. We will also cover the advantages and disadvantages of short pimple rubbers. Some of the advantages are that the ball travels lower and flatter over the net and that having one rubber short pimple and one rubber inverted provides variety making it more difficult for your opponent.
