Hi Guys

I recently watched your exellent video about how to play against long pimples and I've already used it to good effect in a league match. I was now wondering about short pimples as I'm not really sure about the characteristics that short pimples have. Can you give some advise about playing aginst short pimples?

Many thanks

Martin

Hi Martin,

Short pimples come back quite flat and fast.  They don't reverse the spin just flatten it out a bit.

Players with short pimples usually like the ball coming through fast to them so in a match try to stay away from that type of rally.

We are doing a lesson on this for our Match Strategy Course.  This will be filmed in a few weeks and up on the site soon after that.
