Alois, as a chopper should I shuffle to the middle of the table after I serve or my opponent serves? I notice that Joo Se Hyuk stands to the left of the table after he or his opponent serves. He only moves to the right if he needs to.

Hi Kim,

You need to move to a position to be able to cover the angle of where they are likely to hit.  For example if you hit wide to the backhand side then you need to cover your backhand side more as that is the angle they are likely to hit the ball.

That is why Hoo Se Hyuk tends to stay on his backhand side because he places the ball a lot to his opponent's backhand corner.

Where you shuffle after you serve will depend on where you have served to.  Think about covering the angles.
