Hello Alois

This is linda, I always try to reach the ball as earlier as possible for short push return, but it always go into nets after, is that because I touched the ball too earlier or have to read what kind of spin ist.

thanks

Hi Linda,

It is OK to hit the ball early.  You probably just need more experience in reading the spin.  Try opening the angle of the blade (tilt it back so the face is facing the roof more) to allow the ball to go a little higher, especially if the ball always goes into the net.  Then brush under the ball.  If you have a flat bat with a closed face all the spin will take effect and if they have any backspin on the ball it will go into the net.
