Thanks for the suggestion. The problem is that HTML5 is not supported by all browsers so we would need a hybrid solution. It is something that we definitely want to implement and it is on my to do list. I am hoping to have the issue sorted early next year.

Also, the .flv video file will not play in QuickTime using Mac OSX 10.7.1 (Lion) because it needs a codex that is not available. So I can only watch by streaming, but I cannot download and watch subsequently. Any suggestions?

I recommend downloading VLC Media Player. It will play all types of video including flash (fly). It is also free. Just google VLC Media Player or go to http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
It is available for Windows and the Mac!

I Don't seem to be able to download these videos. I seem to get involved with lots of problem programs when I try to download recomended programmes.

Hi Maurice,
When you click the "Download this video" link, it should ask you to save the file. Does this happen? If so once you have saved the file on your computer you need a video player that can play the file. I recommend VLC media player. You can download it for free from http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Once you have the lesson downloaded and VLC media player you can watch it just by double clicking the file.
