How can you tell when the rubber on your bat is worn out?

Hi John,

If you look closely at the rubber you will see the image of the pimples start to show on the surface. This is an indication that the rubber is wearing out.

You can also rub your finger over the rubber and see if there is still friction.

Tone is in Your Fingers

I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
