Returning sidespin in a low angle

Hi,

when my opponent serves...which is sidespinning....in a low angle...what shall i do....even though in backhand or forehand...i could'nt return it...please tell me what to do

Hi Martin,

If the ball is low with sidespin you need to angle your bat upwards, with the hitting side facing the roof. You then also need to aim the ball away from where the spin naturally takes it.  If the spin takes the ball to the left you need to face your bat to the right. and vice versa.  then execute a short push.  you can see how to do a short push by watching our  Lesson on Pushing.
