hi 

how far should i stand  from the table when receiving serves and during a close to the table loop, im about 160cm tall

Hi Jimmy,

As a rule for receiving you should stand just far enough away form the table so that when you are in the Ready Position you can just touch the table.

For the topspin or loop you are in a similar position, perhaps a fraction further away from the table to allow yourself to swing freely.  This will also depend on the amount of time you have.
