Hi,

Thanks for the previous answer, it's helping me to keep the ball low, still I need to improve more.

Nowadays I am able to play a forehand top spin drive as well as a backhand drive but the problem is it goes too slow and is easily picked off. Also my pushes are slow too.

So guide me how can I improve to make it faster.

Thanks,

Hi Binod,

It is great you are making progress with your game. To hit a faster forehand you need to firstly make sure you don't compromise your stroke. By that I mean that your technique should remain the same, but you just start to move your bat faster.

The Finish Position

There are 3 basic areas to focus on when learning a stroke: 1) The position of your feet. 2) The starting position of your bat. 3) The finishing position of your bat. Of all these 3 elements the finish position is the most critical. Watch this video to find out why.
