Hi coach

I apologize if I am asking too much...

I just ask for help with solving a problem with my doubles parnter.

He is an attacker and I defend, and we are unable to synchronise because of it.

He always tends to make as strong attack as he can as soon as possible, but he often misses.

From the other side I have problems when we get into a short game, because we are hetting into each other's way because at the table is not enough space for us to move.

Also,I am afraid of moving too much if my partner is not in my field of vision, because I am afraid that I will collide with him or hit him.

The next problem is that I cannot read what spin he is putting on his strokes, so I often react incorrectly.

I would desribe even next problems but I cannot use words to describe it,I would need a pictures and I do not know if or how can I use them here
thanks

DK

Hi DK,

Have your partner stay close to the table and you stay behind him.  Then it is easier to stay out of each others way.  He also needs to be able to block well to counter the attacks they will make against your chops.

Blocking is useless because my chops are popping up no matter of the coming spin, isn't it? :(

I cannot compete with my partner in anything.

He is the second weakest member of my team, but the difference between me and him is enormous.

I cannot keep the ball low and he is unable to deal with it,and also I cannot deal with the situation when he starts an attacking rally. If he does not miss (he's trying to attack every ball, even very short ones),he forces the opponents to lob or block.

If they lob,I usually miss the table or the ball, and if they block,i have no time toreact and usually am unable to reach the ball over my partner.

Hi DK,

You need to start getting a bit more positive about yourself.  Think about what you are doing well not always about what you can’t do.

Hello.

Doing well?
But how can I find something like that???

When everything is a spinless and slow or miss?
