Hi, I tried doing basic topspin, but my topspin is always goes very high and always hit the edge of the table or the left corner near the net and is very slow. No matter how I try to do topspin fast and low, I can't and I don't know why. I think I somehow have a minor fear of missing the ball or hit the edge of the paddle, but I tried plenty of times to "Ignore" the fear, but it still can't get the fast-and-low effect. How do I even properly do a topspin? May I know what is lob and looping the ball?

Hi Xracius,

It may be as simple as turing your bat more forward to get the ball moving lower and faster.  Try this out and let me know if it helps.

Take a look at our lesson on the Forehand Topspin.  This may also help you.

Perhaps more hitting with this focus will do it.  Without seeing the stroke it is hard to tell exactly what is happening.
