Forehand Flick →
This lesson provides you with some tips to deal with a backspin ball when playing the backhand topspin loop.
Thank you very much Jeff for this killer return. I started practicing this stroke and now I can return every spin by this stroke and that too looks like I smashed the Ball......
Again thank you very much....
In this video you are doing topspin against high balls. Is it the same technique agains the low , half long and very spinny backspins?
Thank you coach. At what point should we topspin the low and fast backspins(pushes)? Is it better to hit the ball at its highest moment or when it is below the table with less backspin?
It is best to hit it at the top of the bounce. From there you will be able to hit the ball faster.
Thank you !
Alois, i do the movement pretty well but the problem is that i lift the ball high and slowly, with much spin but just slowly. i dont know exactly what im doing bad. Although sometimes i cause problems to my adversaries with the spin, i cant do it as i would like. how is the difference between doing it slow and high and quick and low as jeff shows on the video?
It is just a matter now of changing the angle of your bat. Tilt your bat forward to get the ball lower.
Alois, do i need to use the wrist in this movement or just the arm?
At the start you don't need too much wrist just get the angle of your racket right. As you get more fluent, then start to use more wrist.
