The Long pimple rubber was just a spare bat that we had.  The normal rubber was Jeff's bat at the time.

Hi, with the backspin Jeff is giving with the chop, isnt he reinforcing the topspin given by Alois? So, the ball would tend to go out of the table, isnt it? SO, the Chop must be done softly?

The long pimple absorbs some of the speed of the ball as well.
