Backhand Sidespin Flick
This stroke is becoming more and more popular. It allows you to attack a short ball as does a normal backhand flick but the sidespin makes it harder for your opponent to return the ball. If you have ever had anyone play this stroke against you, you will know the problems the sidespin causes.
Main Points About The Sidespin Forehand Topspin
- Start with the bat facing down
- Start with the bat in line with your right hip
- Swing up and around for sidespin
- Finish as you would for a backhand topspin
- Contact the ball near the end of your bat
