Just wanted to clear something with you guys. From what I know, if the ball hits the post which supports the net at either end and still goes into the opponent's side, that is still considered to be in. But what if it hits say the clamp that holds the net onto the table? I know this sounds impossible, I did too but someone told me that they actually saw that happen and at the time they continued playing. Are any other parts of the net setup considered to be part of the table? Thanks

Hi Leslie,

If it hits anywhere on the net at all and then hits the table it is in.

It does happen sometimes but rarely.  Remember it does have to hit the table after the net though to be in.
