Trying to find a lighter bat

I'm upgrading my blade and rubbers from an all-round set-up to an offensive bat (as advised by members of my t t club). I've picked my fast rubbers, but want to find a lighter bat than has been recommended to me, probably a balsa bat weighing 75-80g. However, I'm bamboozled by the huge choice available! I'm not sure what criteria to use when making my selection. Although largely an attacking player, I do still have a foot in the defensive camp.

Hi Mandy,

I don't have any recommendations for a light bat.  I hope other readers will be able to help here.

Try Butterfly's Jonyer blade series.Recently the rubber of my racket had come off.So I had to play with my friend's racquet. He uses the jonyer h-II blade and joola express 2 rubbers. The Racket was so light, that I nearly had to practice again with that racquet for nearly 15 mins. as I am used to a little heavy blade.
