If someone does so much backspin when serving, hitting etc. if the ball hits my side and goes to the opponents side without me making any contact with the ball, whose point is it?

Good question. This is one that many people get mixed up with.
That is your opponents point. you have to touch it before it goes backfor the point to continue.
