 Hi. I was wondering how to put spin on the ball. i practice on the floor random serves. I get hyper when i finally see crazy spinning, but it was random...so i was wondering if there was a specific area to hit on the paddle to where the ball spins or...a specific direction that your paddle must travel?

Hi Samuel,

The improtant things about getting spin on the ball are to get a brushing contact and secondly to get that contact as fast as possible.

You will find that hitting the ball closer to the end of the bat will get you more spin because the end of your bat is travelling faster that the part closer to your hand.
