how do you generate a short and tight spin? how do u exactly do it, which part of the ball do u hit ?

Hi Merle,
Firstly, don't stress too much about what part of the ball to hit or even where to land the ball on your side or anything else.
Now try this exercise out. Put a piece of paper or coin on the table exactly where you want the ball to land. The target needs to be quite small, between 2 and 5 cm in diameter. Then spend 10 minutes just aiming at the target. Don't worry if you are not getting close at all, just keep serving.
Then get a piece of string. Put it up about 6 cm over the net. you can do this by attaching some thin sticks to the netposts and then attaching the string to that. Then spend 10 minutes serving and aiming to get the abll under the string. If you have both the string and the target you can work on both the length and the height of your serve.
Give it a go and let me know what happens.
