I have a friend who plays shakehand style and i have difficulties to beat him because he uses too much forehand loop...what should i do then???

Hi Willy,
Often we focus only on trying to return the difficult shot. We also need to focus on making it more difficult for our opponent to play that shot.
To counter the forehand loof you can use the Block stroke. We have just filmed n online lesson on this stroke and will post it on youtube shortly, so watch out for it.
The main ideas are to keep the stroke short and give the full face of the bat to the ball. You can alter the angle of the bat depending on the amount of topspin they put on the ball.
But lets get back to trying to stop them from playing that shot...
The idea is to use placement or just make it more difficult for them to play that stroke. For example, if you can keep the ball short on the table, they will find it more difficult to make the loop. Also if you place the ball deep to the backhand corner it will make it more difficult. Any way you can think of how you can stop them from playing that stroke.
