How to play an all-out attack player ?

Ok, I can play someone who plays the standard loop/drive/push/etc. fine on an aggressive level.
But yesterday, I come across a pen-hold player with short-pips on FH and inverted on BH, where all he does is attack any ball off-the-table with flat and long loop/drive kills keeping the ball very low (FH/BH). Any short ball on the table, he would push very long and low to my BH, and then follow it with the same attack kill. Very little of anything else. His style made it very difficult to get into rallies of any sort. He beat me 6 games straight where on average I could get only 7-8 points per game.
What should be done here ?

Hi Sunil,
The flat hitter with short pimples can be awkward to play, but they do have some limitations. They like a little bit of height because they hit the ball very directly, without much topspin.
There is often a weakness if you can keep the ball low with enough backspin. They can find this difficult to lift.
The other weakness can be against a heavily spun slower topspin ball. If it is fast they can cope easily but the slower hevay topspin can be harder for them to handle. Try it out.
The other thing is that this guy may just be a very good player...

Thanks Alois.I will definitely try out the low heavy backspin and short heavy topspin tips next time I play him. He is pretty good, rated at U.S. 2150 level.
