Hi Dimo,
To counter smash you play a stroke just like a regular smash. However because your opponent has smashed the ball at you it will be coming very fast. This makes it a very difficult ball to play against.
Once your opponent gets an opportunity to smash you are in trouble in the rally. I wouldn't recommend that you spend too much time practicing this stroke as it won't happen that often in a match. You are much better off spending your time on things that happen all the time. Try focusing on your serve, your return of serve and third ball attack.
If you do get into a position in a match where you want to counter smash don't worry too much about technique on this shot just hit! That's my best advice for this situation.
