hello my friend,

i´m begining with this kind of  techniques (penholder defense with hard cut) and I got a lot of result. however I need to get more expertise in order to use the cut just in a few situation

have you seen someone doing this

Hi Aejandro,

This is not a common technique.  There was a very good player, Zhang Xielin in the early 1970s.  He had his fingers flat on the backside of the bat and mainly used the one side to hit.

I also know a current player in Fiji who uses this technique. It is certainly possible so give it a go.
