You Asked

I practise around 4 hours a day, i started doing drills, i am now working on backhand loop drills, i have around 20 drills for backhand that i have written down, forehand smash and forehand loops, i want to know if i should do all drills together, or do 3 at a time, 3 backhand, 3-6 backhand 6-9 and then when i make it second nature, start the forehand or mix it up? please advise.

Thanks

Hi,

I think during each training session you can do a variety of drills.  YOu may have a focus of a particular skill that you want to improve but I think a variety will help you to maintain your concentration and interest during the drills.

It is great that you can find 4 hours a day to train.  Make sure that you give yourself some time off as well.  This is important to ensure you are still playing in 5 years time.

Good luck with it all.
