Gentlemen,

I am 82 years old.  I play in the age bracket competition at the state and National Senior Games.

I am trying to convince myself to buy a membership into PingSkills.  Can you offer any persuasion?

What do you feel a man of my age might gain from your knowledge bank.

Thank you.

Hi Bob,

OK, here is the sales pitch then.  We have a lot of up to date technique help.  I think for players that have been playing a long time we offer the Master Classes which has 52 interesting snippets of information.  We also offer access to Match Strategy lessons to give you information on how to play against different styles of players.

You can also access all the video responses to our Ask the Coach questions and can vote for video responses to any question as well.  If you use the Ask the Coach section your questions get priority when being answered and even if there is an overload of questions your question is still able to be asked.

You get to watch matches with our Match Commentary that gives our insight on the match.

Lots more of course...  am I getting convincing?

Your sign up format is difficult to use.  I clearly indicated that i wanted to use my Master Card to pay for the yearly subscription to Ping Skills.  I got an e-mail back saying that Pay Pal was going to handle it.  I do not want Pay Pal to handle this. Please correct this and send me notice of the correction.  Thanks.  Bob Quinn

Hi Robert,

Sorry for the confusion. It does sound like you are using your Master Card for the payments.

We use PayPal to process all of the payments on our website. Therefore the only option is to go through PayPal. However PayPal allows you to pay using a credit card even if you don't have a PayPal account. And as all of the payment details are made on the secure PayPal site, PingSkills does not even see your payment details. If you entered you Master Card details, then PayPal will use that to process your payment and you should see it on your credit card statement.

If you want to double check with PayPal exactly what has occurred they have a "contact us" link at the bottom of every page on the PayPal website. When you click on this it has an option to "call us". By clicking that you will get the local number for PayPal. In the past I've found them very responsive. For security reasons PayPal does not allow PingSkills as the merchant access to your payment details. This is done to protect you as the purchaser.

Please let me know if this helps answer your concerns and whether you have some more questions. Once again sorry for the confusion.
