This is a big question.
Firstly you need to spend a lot of hours on the training table before you see the results in a match situation.
Work on your technique for your strokes. This is something that will give you a good base to work with. Then you can learn some more match tactics and strategy to help you win points.
Take a look through as many of the Lessons as you can and try to master some of the strokes, especially the forehand and backhand counterhits. Then also work on the push and topspin strokes. These 6 strokes will form the basis of your games.
