Hi coaches

Just wonder why world-ranked players prefer ALC blades to ZLC blades from Butterfly?

I notice that the price of ZLC blades is much more costly than that of ALC blades?

Can you tell me the differences between the two types of carbon.

I have thought expensive blades will always be better, but I think I'm wrong just because those top players use ALC blades?  Am I wrong? I think I am.

Please help me sort out!

Thanks in advance

Hi Ittipat,

I don't know enough about the blades but I do know that the more expensive the blade does not mean that it will necessarily suit you better.  A lot of top players do use slower blades.

A trap that a lot of club players fall into is that they think that the equipment will do everything for them.  This is far from the truth.  It is very much more important how much you train and how well you train.  Equipment is very much over rated.

I know a better player will beat me whether they are playing with a ZLC or an ALC blade.
