Hi Yiejian,

To help with your shoes just put a drop of water on the floor and just touch the sole of your shoe to it after each few point.  Make sure you dry off any excess water after you step in it as this could be dangerous.

The main problem is often the accumulation of dust on the sole of your shoes.

For the table tennis rubber the solution is similar.  A little water to clean the surface.  If this doesn't work, your rubber is probably getting old and it is time to replace them.

In squash we take an old towel and soak half of it thoroughly.  Wipe your soles in between games on the wet first, then dry.  Also remember never to wear your court shoes except on the wood floor.  Every so often you might need to scuff them up-- like when brand new.

I am miserable when my shoes slip.
