Try this new forehand

We get quite a few emails asking us how people can overcome their old bad habits and improve their technique. One tip that often helps people to correct their errors is to think about learning a new stroke rather than thinking about fixing a problematic stroke. The change in thinking allows you to forget all about your old habits and simply focus on learning the “new” correct stroke. So if you are having troubles getting your forehand to work correctly, then say this to yourself – “forget about my old forehand and try this new improved forehand.”

This advice has been so helpful over the years that we decided to make a new 60 second lesson for the Video Zone on exactly this. This lesson will be part of a new series of lessons titled “60 seconds with PingSkills.” In this series we will offer short tips that we can give in less than 1 minute.

So if you are a premium member take a look at correcting errors. And if not, you can signup now.
