The ‘Ready Position’ somehow doesn’t work, but thank you for the other two drop shot tip videos, very helpful.

Best drop shot I ever saw against a lob was Linus Erikson against Mickael Apelgren at Polish Open some years ago. Apelgren was back from court doing his useual retrievals, Linus ran up to the net, dropped shot it off the bounce, it bounced low over the net and spun back over to his side….it was incredible. Apelgtren didn’t even make a step to get it - it was totally surprising and one of the best shots I have ever seen. Linus was one of the most talented players in the world………

I would definitely recommend every club player to practice drop shots off lobs as much as possible (and not just automatically smash again and again). The great thing about it is, at club level, even a BAD drop shot can be quite effective when people camp way back. If people are good at lobbing smashes, it throws them off their rythmn…and even if they get your bad drop shot back, they often hit a weaker lob and allow an easier smash.
