Ask The Coach Enhancements
As we get more and more people using our Ask the Coach section of our website, we’ve had a few requests come in from people on ways we could improve this resource. One suggestion which we have already implemented is an RSS feed to help you keep updated. If you want to subscribe to the Ask the Coach RSS feed just click on the subscribe button below. Note you can also RSS subscribe to this blog by clicking the subscribe button in the navigation bar to the right.

Another feature that has been requested a number of times is to create accounts that can be used for asking questions. The idea is that you would sign up once and then you would not need to enter your name and email address for every question you ask. Please let us know what you think about this idea. Is it better to leave the Ask the Coach section open so you don’t need to login or would it make this section of the website easier for regular users by having accounts?
Currently when you ask a question you will receive an email as soon as it has been answered. Another great suggestion is to give you the option of receiving an email whenever a comment has been placed on a question you have asked. I really like this idea and it would be much easier to implement a feature like this if we did create accounts. In addition to this if we did create accounts it would be easier to track which questions and comments a user has made – which means we could develop a new web page that would show you a list of the most recently updated questions of which you had been involved in. Now I believe that would be really useful.
Let us know your thoughts on these ideas and if you have any other opinions on how we could improve asking the coach a Table Tennis question.

I guess having accounts would allow the website to become a little more personalised…which is good.

I think that it is a great idea because I find it tough to everytime my name to ask a question. It is so frustrating
